COCONUT MOUTH MELTING COOKIES (KOKOSOVKI)

 
Easy and fast recipe for these famous cookies with coconut flakes. The recipe is similar to those for vanilici.  You can also add some chopped nuts in the recipe for even better taste.



Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cube butter or margarine (250 g)
  • 5 tbs sugar
  • 1 package coconut flakes (100 g)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
*sugar in powder for sprinkling

Preparation:
  1. Beat butter and sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs, coconut, flour and baking powder. Knead well with hand and make forms from the mixture, preferably small balls or small disks. You can also stretch a thicker crust and cut forms with a glass.
  2. Align on a baking tray with baking paper and bake at 150 C degrees until they get a fine rosy color.
  3. Roll the ready cookies in a sugar in powder.
