This dish is actually Chinese or adapted from Chinese food. I enjoy preparing it and eating it and I always make a larger amount so that I can have a second plate and if there are leftovers for the next day - that's a big joy for me :) We don't have a Chinese restaurant in Bitola so I sometimes experiment with Chinese food in my kitchen and give it a Macedonian touch.
I usually use 3 hotplates parallel and the food is ready in half an hour.
  • 500 g chicken steak
  • corn starch
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 200 g of grated cabbage
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 1/2 shredded onion
  • 2 chopped cloves of garlic
  • soy sauce
  • 2-3 packs of noodles
  1. Chop the chicken steak into small pieces, add salt and black peppers dip each piece in corn starch. Let it fry well on all sides.
  2. At the same time, put the prepared vegetables to fry, the cabbage should remain slightly crunchy, and the other vegetables to soften but not too much.
  3. Once the steak is cooked, add it to the vegetables and continue to fry briefly.
  4. Since the noodles are cooked for 3 minutes, you can cook them in the end.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the vegetables with the chicken, add the soy sauce and stir. If needed, add more soy sauce, but don't overdo it.
  6. Serve warm.
  7. I also prepared cauliflower and added it as an addition.
