Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup liquid yogurt
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup corn starch
- 1 cup (not full) oil
- 1 sachet baking powder
- 1 grind lemon zest
- juice from half lemon
*cup size 150 ml
Preparation:
- First whisk egg whites separately with a pinch of salt.
- Then whisk egg yolks together with the sugar, add yogurt, then the oil, and lemon juice and zest in the end.
- Separately mix flour, corn starch and baking powder and gradually add them to the egg yolks mixture. Stir with a wire. Then add the egg whites mixture and stir everything well.
- Pour the mixture in a mold (No.26) coated with butter and flour and bake at 180 C degrees for about 40 minutes.
- After baking, leave to cool well, then sprinkle with powdered sugar or make royal icing.
