CHICKEN CROQUETTES

If you have chicken leftovers from the previous day, you can use the meat to make delicious chicken croquettes. Crunchy on the outside and soft and melting on the inside, children love them!
 
 
Ingredients:
  • 300 g ready chicken meat
  • 50 g bacon
  • 50 g cheese
  • 3 tbs cream cheese
  • salt, black pepper and garlic powder - to taste
For breading:




  • 1 egg
  • 50 g flour
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • salt - to taste
  • about 50 ml oil for frying
Preparation:
  1. In a blender, mix the chicken, bacon, cheese, cream cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Put this mixture in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes or, for quicker, put in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then take from the mixture, shape balls or other shapes like meatballs, dip them first in flour, then in egg and then in breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry in hot oil on both sides until well browned. Croquettes can be also be baked in the oven,  on a baking paper and  coated with a little oil on top.
  4. They go great with tartar sauce.
