DELICIOUS FILLED BAKED POTATOES

I tried something similar to this potato some other day at my neighbor (maybe u remember the photo I posted) and I was delighted. And I had to try it myself, because I'm tired of the classic baked potatoes.
Preparations last a little longer because they need to be cut and filled in, but it's definitely worth it. Choose potatoes of the same size to bake at the same time.

Ingredients:

  • 15 potatoes medium size
  • 150 g of salami, smoked meat or bacon cut into small pieces
  • pork fat (lard) as needed
  • spices (vegeta, red pepper, black pepper, oregano)
  • 100 g cheese or more (cut into thin stripes)
  • 150 ml of water
Preparation:

  1. Potatoes are peeled and cut, but not all the way. The distance of the incisions should be according to your estimation, my approx. 4 mm.
  2. Put in each cut a small piece of meat.
  3. Arrange the potatoes in the baking pan, sprinkle spices, and place on each slice a piece of lard.
  4. Add water to the pan and cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake at 250 C degrees with a switched-on fan if you have it.
  6. During the baking, I poured the potatoes with the baking liquid 2 times with a spoon.
  7. After approximately 1 hour, remove the foil and allow the potatoes to be roasted on top. Before taking out, place the cheese, if you can, put some in the cuts and on the top and return to bake the cheese for a few more minutes.

Cheers!
