RYE AND BARLEY HEALTHY BREAD (NO KNEADING)

Eating healthy is something we all need nowadays. One of the most important part of every Macedonian's meal is the bread. That's why in the last years, there are plenty of recipes available for making your own healthy and tasty bread at home.
In this recipe, there's no wheat flour, the combination is made with rye and barley flour.
This bread is healthy and the best part is that there's no kneading. There's no even a yeast, only a baking powder and sparkling water to give the fluffiness to the bread.
If you're vegan or you're on a chrono diet, this is the ideal bread for you.

Ingredients:
  • 250 g 'rye flour
  • 150 g cup of barley flour
  • 500 ml of sparkling water
  • 5 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
  • 1 baking powder (10 g)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame
  • 1 tablespoon flax-seed
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tsp sunflower
  • a little Himalayan salt

Preparation:
  1. Mix the dry ingredients into a deep bowl (rye flour, barley flour, baking powder, seeds and Himalayan salt). Stir well with a spoon.
  2. Then add the melted butter or olive oil to the mixture. Finally add the sparkling water and stir well until a dense and damp dough is obtained.
  3. In a rectangular bread mold, coated with baking paper or with butter, pour the dough.
  4. Decorate with seeds as desired and a little salt. Make side cuts with a knife.
  5. Bake in a well-heated oven at a temperature of 180-200 ° C for about 40 minutes depending on the oven, if it is stronger, perhaps shorter.
  6. Check with a toothpick. When the toothpick is dry and the dough doesn't stick to it, then the bread is ready.
  7. When the bread is baked, wrap it in a clean cloth and allow it to cool.
  8. Combine it for breakfast. Good appetite!
