POTATO SPIRALS

One of my favorite forms in nature is the spiral form. These are delicious, unique, crunchy and incredibly tasty spirals and you will fall in love with this way of preparing potatoes. Instead of classic french fries, try this way, you will surely LOVE it. Yes, it takes more time, yes, it's a little slower than usual, but so worth it. They're beautiful and tasty even cold.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large boiled potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons starch
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • half a tablespoon of vegetable seasoning
  • half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • half a tablespoon of sesame
  • cooking oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. First boil the potatoes, then, pour out all the water and mash them well, you can also use a mixer or a blender for smoother structure.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix all the ingredients well.

  3. Take a cooking syringe or a piping bag and fill it with the resulting mixture. Use a syringe attachment with a hole about 1.5 cm in diameter.
  4. Then in a heated oil in a pan, carefully starting from the middle, form a spiral using the syringe.

  5. I fried 3 spirals in the pan at a time, and I got a total of 8. If you get an irregular and bad shape when you squeeze the mixture in the pan, immediately take out the mixture with a spoon and mix it with the other mixture and start again.

  6. Fry on both sides at a higher temperature for a few minutes until nicely browned.
  7. Remove the finished spirals on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
  8. Finally, serve the spirals and season them with spices of your choice. I combined them with roasted fish and salad.

Cheers
