A healthy and tasty fruit and oat flakes dessert cake that will thrill you. In combination with morning coffee, you won't even need breakfast. Easy to prepare and it's a full hit for those who want a little healthier way of living.
  • 100 g oat or mixed cereal flakes (I used 4 varieties)
  • 100 g flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 125 g butter softened at room temperature
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon mixed spices (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon)

  • 500 g red fruits (strawberries and blackberries)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tsp starch
  1. First, blend half of the cereal mix in a blender and mix with the raw cereals, flour, baking powder, sugar, spices and add the butter and mix well. Mix the dough by hand for a better finish. Place 3/4 of this dough in a mold or baking pan 20 cm in diameter. Align it well using your palm.
  2. In another bowl, mix the fruit with the sugar and the starch and place evenly on the dough.

  3. Spread the remaining 1/4 of the dough over the fruit, sprinkle with flakes and bake at 180 C degrees for about 40 minutes.
  4. Leave to cool, then serve.
