This recipe is old, something our grandmas used to bake. Quick and delicious, your home will smell so good from baking, it will remind you of the past and you'll feel like you're in you grandma's kitchen again.

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla
  • 250 ml yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 300 g cherries (cleaned)
  • powdered sugar for dusting


  1. Because this cake is prepared quickly, first preheat oven at 200 C.
  2. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar.
  3. Add yogurt, oil and the flour mixed with baking powder in the end.
  4. Mix all well until beautifully smooth, pour into oiled rectangular pan and add above cleaned cherries (I used fresh cherries).
  5. Put into oven to bake for about 20 minutes.
  6. When cool, cut and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
