DALGONA COFFEE - HIT COFFEE AROUND THE WORLD

People around the world prefer their coffee in a certain way. Some like black coffee, some drink it with milk, some add sugar, some don't ...
But since we all miss good coffee in this period of self-isolation, the recipe for a coffee called Dalgona, which has become a real hit among fans of this drink, has spread rapidly on the Internet.
Dalgona coffee is also called frappe or iced coffee and is also known as "Phenti hui coffee" in India, where it is actually considered to be hand-made iced cappuccino. Dalgona has become a viral sensation precisely because it looks delicious and decadent, and we especially need coffee like this when we're at home and when we're missing the little exciting things that will brighten our day.

The coffee recipe is very simple:
  • two teaspoons of instant coffee
  • two teaspoons of sugar
  • two teaspoons of warm water
  • cold milk as needed
  • ice (optional)
Preparation:
  1. Put coffee, sugar and water in a deeper but narrow container (I used a regular glass) and start whisking with an electric mixer at maximum speed with one mixer attachment plugged.
  2. Don't worry if it looks like it's not gonna turn into a cream. Be patient and you'll get a beautiful solid cream in a couple of minutes.
  3. Then, pour cold milk in a 200 ml glass, fill the glass about 1/3rd and using a spoon, add the cream on top. If you want, add 2-3 ice cubes.
  4. Stir and enjoy in your beautiful Dalgona coffee.
