This stew has brought me back more than 30 years in the past, I had completely forgotten that it exists. It used to be on the menu in kindergarten  regularly, I still remember the taste and those metal plates and I haven't tasted it since then. On behalf of my kids who also ate it only in kindergarten, I returned this delicious stew on our table.

  • 1 packet of macaroni (400-500 g)
  • 300 g minced meat (10-11 oz)
  • half an onion
  • 500 ml tomato sauce (2 cups)
  • 1 liter of water (more if needed) 4 cups
  • spices - vegeta, black pepper, red pepper, oregano, dried parsley, bay leaf
  1. Fry the chopped onions first, add the minced meat and fry well.
  2. Add spices - one tablespoon of Vegeta, 1 teaspoon red pepper, a little oregano, parsley and black pepper.
  3. Add the tomato sauce and allow to boil for a few minutes, pour water and add the macaroni when water starts boiling and add a bay leaf.
  4. Put a lid on top and cook until the macaroni is cooked. Stir from time to time and if necessary add more water, try to taste if you want to add a little more spices.
  5. Serve warm.
