Ingredients:
- 1 kg of flour
- 200 ml of oil
- 1 yeast (40 g)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 500-600 ml water
- 1.5 l of water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- sesame seeds
Preparation:
- Put yeast in a little lukewarm water with 2 tablespoons of flour and sugar to activate.
- Once activated, add the remained flour, salt and oil. Gradually add water. Knead well and make 22 balls from the dough. Leave to rest for 20 minutes.Then, with a wooden spoon, make a hole in the middle of each ball and form a bagel shape.
- Boil the water with honey and place each bagel in the boiling water for a few seconds and immediately sip in a sesame seeds and align on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
- Bake immediately on 200 C degrees until they get a beautiful red/brown color.
- Serve while warm.
