This is a great recipe from my sister. These bagels will melt in your mouth and will be gone from the plate in no time. They taste good even when they're cold (if there's any left).

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 200 ml of oil
  • 1 yeast (40 g)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 500-600 ml water
  • 1.5 l of water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • sesame seeds

  1. Put yeast in a little lukewarm water with 2 tablespoons of flour and sugar to activate.
  2. Once activated, add the remained flour, salt and oil. Gradually add water. Knead well and make 22 balls from the dough. Leave to rest for 20 minutes. Then, with a wooden spoon, make a hole in the middle of each ball and form a bagel shape.
  3. Boil the water with honey and place each bagel in the boiling water for a few seconds and immediately sip in a sesame seeds and align on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
  4. Bake immediately on 200 C degrees until they get a beautiful red/brown color.
  5. Serve while warm.
