Ingredients:
- 1 pumpkin sliced and cleaned from seeds (about 10 pieces)
- 1 tablespoon of honey for each piece
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts and hazelnuts for each piece
- 1 tablespoon mixture of dried cranberries and raisins for each slice
- 4-5 tablespoons rum to dip the dried fruit
- 1 tsp cinnamon for whole pumpkin
- 1 tbs of vanilla sugar for whole pumpkin
- Place the sliced and cleaned pumpkin on a baking tray lined baking sheet and bake at 220 C degrees for about an hour and a half or until pumpkin is softened and the edges begin to darken. Each pumpkin requires a different baking time.
- Then remove the pan from the oven and fill each piece with dried fruit pre-soaked in rum and chopped nuts and hazelnuts. Sprinkle vanilla sugar and cinnamon and pour 1 tablespoon full of honey on each piece.
- Return the tray to the oven for a few more minutes to slightly roast the added ingredients and melt the honey.
- Cheers.
