MAKALO (DIP) FROM DRIED HOT PEPPERS AND GARLIC

I tried this dip for the first time at my sister's, and it delighted me. I think I ate more than half myself. It goes excellent with fresh bread and barbecue.
For the preparation you will need dried peppers, I used small hot dried peppers.

Ingredients:
  • 5-6 dried hot peppers
  • 1 head garlic
  • a small cup of boiling water
  • oil, vinegar and salt to taste
Preparation:
  1. The peppers are first baked slightly on a hotplate or grill, then chopped as thin as possible together with the seeds.
  2. Add the boiling water and leave to cool.
  3. After it has cooled, add the chopped garlic, salt, oil and vinegar. I add about 5-6 tbs oil and 2 tbs vinegar. If desired, walnuts or parsley can be added.
Enjoy!
