QUICK MINI USHTIPCI

Delicious mini ushtipci which combined with white cheese will delight you and your family. Ideal for breakfast while everyone is still asleep. For those of you who haven't heard about "ushtipci", they are mostly similar to donuts, mekici etc. It's a kind of fried dough.


Ingredients:

  • 400 g  flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag dry yeast
  • 400 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar 
  • oil for frying

Preparation: 

  1. Mix the eggs with the milk, add salt and sugar, and add the flour with yeast in it. 
  2. You'll get a dense dough. Leave it to grow for 1 hour or less, depends on the temperature.
  3. Take forms with a spoon and fry directly in hot oil. 
  4. Serve warm with cheese on top.
