FRIED PEPPERS WITH COTTAGE CHEESE AND EGGS

One of the most beautiful summer foods! I love everything that's combined with peppers - like a real Macedonian right? :) This dish is easy to prepare and light for your stomach, I ate 3 of these peppers and I don't feel heavy at all. I used a homemade cottage cheese which I buy from a farmer and I also used eggs from the village, not from the store. I bought peppers from our vegetable market, beautiful and naturally grown.

Ingredients:
  • 7 peppers
  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
Preparation:
  1. Wash and clean peppers from seeds (of course remove the handles).
  2. Add 2-3 eggs to the cottage cheese and mix. Add salt if necessary.
  3. Fill peppers with this mixture and you can close peppers with pieces of tomatoes.
  4. Put to fry on a medium heat until golden brown and soft. I used olive oil for frying.
  5. Combine with fresh salad and fresh bread.
