MINCED MEAT ROLL WITH BOILED EGGS

This is one of my favorite ways of preparing minced meat. It's great for solemn occasions and it really looks good on the table.

Ingredients:

  • 750 g minced meat
  • 250 g smoked bacon
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 egg
  • middle of two slices of stale bread, some milk to soak
  • parsley
  • half a teaspoon of red pepper
  • salt and black pepper
  • 5 boiled eggs
Preparation:
  1. Cut bacon and onion into small cubes. First fry diced bacon, then add the onion and fry for about 5 minutes at medium heat. Don't add oil, it's not necessary.
  2. Put bread in milk, squeeze when well soaked.
  3. When bacon and onion are a little cool, combine all the ingredients for the roll and knead well.
  4. Coat baking pan with a baking paper, coated with a little oil above.
  5. Put half of the meat mixture, arrange hard-boiled eggs, put over the rest of the meat and form a roll.
  6. Bake at 200 C degrees for about 40 minutes.
Enjoy!
